“Let’s Talk” Drop-in Schedule for Students

Counseling and Mental Health Services invites students for virtual “Let’s Talk” sessions. Log in to usc.edu/myshr to sign up and get the Zoom link.

Each “Let’s Talk” is structured as a 30-minute drop-in for individual conversation. As an outreach activity, this is a good way to explore what talk therapy might be like. All USC students (currently enrolled or under the Student Health fee) are eligible to participate in this activity, regardless of geographic location.

Schedule subject to change, check “workshops” tab in MySHR for most up to date schedule.

What is “Let’s Talk”? Drop in for a one-on-one 30 minute session with a clinician from Counseling and Mental Health Services. You can use it as a consultation, focus on skill-building, ask questions about services, or share what you’re going through with the current disruption from COVID-19. “Let’s Talk” are outreaches for individual conversation, not psychotherapy treatment.

Let’s Talk About Coping and Connecting
Students can drop in and discuss how to cope, connect, and “fight on” during this challenging time. We included the facilitators’ community liaison information below in case that is helpful for members of those communities; however, all students are welcome to sign up for sessions in usc.edu/myshr. There are dozens of sessions each week, and special sessions are available with liaisons to the cultural centers (CBCSA, La CASA, APASS, the LGBT Resource Center) and for international students.
