Campus Climate Report: 2019 AAU Survey Results

Today (October 15, 2019) we are sharing the results of a national survey designed to better understand campus climate around sexual assault and sexual misconduct at universities across the country. The full release of data can be found on the AAU Campus Climate Survey Data website; the condensed findings are summarized in the Data Spotlight. The survey results clearly show the need for ongoing work to strengthen the prevention and intervention efforts already underway, and to provide additional support for those impacted. Over the past years, the university has increased efforts in these areas. We value your input and will continue to work vigilantly to improve the climate on our campuses.

Undergraduate Student Government funds coverage of HIV testing at USC Student Health

Affirmative consent program rolls out for new undergraduates

Trojans Respect Consent, a new program of USC Student Health, that requires all incoming first-year undergraduate students to participate in a 90-minute workshop on affirmative consent, begins on September 9. The workshop centers on practicing how to engage in conversations about sexual activity with other students. When counseling and clinical care meet: Jennifer Hsia joins USC Student Health as its first behavioral health consultant

Hsia, who started at USC in July, will be a bridge between medical and mental health services for student patients. Her role as a behavioral health consultant was developed collaboratively between medical and mental health teams in USC Student Health, working on an integrative approach to patient care.
