Students interested in joining a workshop should go to MySHR and checkout the “workshops” tab for current dates/times.
This workshop helps to create “trauma-informed” and “resiliency-focused” communities. Individuals are provided the tools to create a common understanding of the impact of trauma and chronic stress on the nervous system, and better understand how resiliency can be restored or increased using this skills-based approach.
This workshop also introduces the six wellness skills designed to help individuals learn to track their own nervous systems in order to bring the body, mind, and spirit back into a greater balance.
