More than 400 graduate students accessed vaccinations, safety training, and campus support services at the annual event
Seventeen campus partners participated in this year’s fair. Student Health administered 180 flu shots at no cost to graduate students, supported through Graduate Student Government (GSG) funding while supplies last. Twenty-eight students completed CPR training, and more than 350 doses of Narcan and fentanyl test strips were distributed, equipping students with life-saving tools and preventative strategies.
The fair also spotlighted the breadth of student support services on campus.
Counseling and Mental Health, the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life, the Office of Student Accessibility Services, and the Department of Public Safety engaged directly with students, underscoring the university’s commitment to holistic student care—ranging from mental health and accessibility accommodations to spiritual support and campus safety.
Students were also invited to join Rethink the Drink, a proactive health campaign promoting intentional decision-making around alcohol use. By signing up for personalized text reminders, students could create individualized strategies for safer social experiences, whether abstaining or moderating consumption during seasonal and high-profile campus events.

The health fair’s purpose extended beyond delivering immediate services. It also served as an opportunity to raise awareness of the robust network of resources available to graduate students throughout the academic year.
