The best health and well-being outcomes are achieved from working with our community, our patients, and our campus partners.

USC Student Health

Option 1. Expert Facilitated Discussions

Our experts in Counseling and Mental Health provide guidance through webinars, embedded counselor programs at key points of service, and co-facilitated programs with Student Equity and Inclusion Programs, Office of International Services, Office of Religious Life, Mindful USC, and other student service partners on campus.

Our prevention educators in Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention conduct specialized discussions around prevention of gender-based harm and sexual assault.

If you are a USC academic program, department, or recognized student organization, Student Health can provide facilitated discussions, debrief after a loss or tragedy, and general supportive dialogue.

Interviews and Events

Class project assistance: Due to volume of requests and prioritization of clinician time for patient care during the academic year, we cannot accommodate requests for interviews with counseling and mental health providers.

Media interviews: USC student media (Annenberg News, Daily Trojan) are asked to coordinate with the editorial team invited to weekly media briefings with the Chief Campus Health Officer. Questions may be directed to uscnews@usc.edu.

Tabling fair(s): Student Health hosts a weekly “health corner” presence at the UPC Farmer’s Market in McCarthy Quad during the fall and spring semesters. We encourage all students to drop by and learn about services, meet our WHOA team, and bring their questions! If you are a partner with a health related activity, we encourage you to reach out as part of our regular programming. Contact studenthealthinfo@usc.edu for inquiries. Special requests for tabling cannot be accommodated.

Wellness event (and dog event) planning: Events with our wellbeing mascot, Rumi, are announced on our Instagram account and all students are welcome to join us at these activities. Student Health encourages all campus partners to “build-in” student well-being into existing programs, including special events. Contact studenthealthinfo@usc.edu for a copy of the Wellbeing Event Planning guide including current vendors (including food, activities, and wellness dogs) and contact information. Special requests for production of wellness events and dog events cannot be accommodated.
