It’s that time of year again!
Students, faculty and university staff are strongly recommended to get vaccinated against influenza.
Fall semester brings us back to campus, and prepared for many exciting opportunities — takes steps so influenza doesn’t get in the way of your plans — make a plan to get your flu vaccine!
For most people who need only one dose of flu vaccine for the season, September and October are generally good times to be vaccinated against flu. Ideally, everyone should be vaccinated by the end of October.

Students on other plans
If you are on another insurance plan, the cost of the vaccine ($20) is billed to your student account. This is usually a reimbursable cost when submitted to your insurer (check with your plan on their website.)
Faculty and Staff
For USC employees, the USC Health Plans is sponsoring flu vaccinations at no cost for all USC faculty and staff at the USC Pharmacies. Employees and their dependents enrolled in USC PPO, EPO Plus, or EPO plans can visit any contracted Optum Rx pharmacy.
GSG Special Fall Flu Program!
USC Graduate Student Government is funding flu immunizations for all graduate students (while allocated funds are available.) This means that if you are a graduate student, you have a “no out of pocket cost” flu shot available to you, no matter what insurance plan you have.
