As the administrative director for USC Student Health, Monique Menke is responsible for the budget administration and non-clinical operational management of the multi-site health operations for students. In that capacity, she oversees budget, planning, technology, and policies and procedures that ensure a high standard of practice and care, along with adherence to the standards of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Monique Menke worked extensively in the specialty area of private ophthalmology practice management, which led to her role as the manager of the Laser Refractive Surgery clinic in the UCLA Dept. of Ophthalmology. From UCLA, she went on to serve as the division administrator for the Plastic Surgery, Craniofacial, and Dentistry divisions at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Monique Menke holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical communications from The Ohio State University and a master of public health degree, specializing in healthcare management and policy, from the University of California, Los Angeles.
