Lisa Richardson, MD, received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. Dr. Richardson is certified in General Pediatrics from the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Dr. Richardson is a member of the Society of Adolescent Medicine, American Academy of Pediatrics, Association of Black Women Physicians, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is a current board member of the Alcoholism Center for Women (ACW), an incorporated 501(c)3 organization with a mission to provide a safe and supportive sober environment in which women and youth can repair, restore, and reclaim their lives.

She also specializes in trans-care. Dr. Richardson is co-chair of the DEI Committee at Student Health. On campus, she served as a member of the Institutional Review Board, IRB, for five years.

Fun fact: She also has an identical twin, and is a physician too.
