Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Deirdre Logan, MD is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist, a double alumna of USC, and an assistant professor of clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at USC Student Health. She earned her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of USC and earned a master’s in medical management from USC Marshall School of Business.
Prior to returning to USC, Dr. Logan served as chief physician of an OB/GYN department in a federally qualified health center located in South Los Angeles for 10 years. Years of providing care to women in marginalized communities have heightened her awareness of trauma and complex issues affecting many individuals. This has strengthened her resolve to be an innovative change agent, and to provide and advocate for trauma-informed, compassionate, and equitable women’s health care.
Dr. Logan is a current co-chair for the American College of OB/GYN’s District IX DEI Committee, a member of the Department of Family Medicine’s anti-racism task force, Student Health’s DEI committee, and Student Health’s trauma-informed care steering committee.
She is a music enthusiast++, and especially enjoys live performances, concerts, and musical stage productions.
