Strategic Advisor, Executive Director of Communications
Minne Hong Ho serves as the strategic advisor to the chief campus health officer in USC Campus Health and as executive director of communications for USC Student Health. In these roles, she is responsible for designing and implementing campus-wide collaboratives that support a healthy campus approach, as well as a comprehensive public health communications and outreach to support the health and well-being of the student population. Her portfolio of work includes outreach and program work with campus partners, health agencies, student organizations, and other stakeholders. She served as the primary campus health communications officer during the COVID-19 pandemic, and has designed public health campaigns, education outreaches, and public discussions on a wide variety of health and wellbeing topics.
She comes to Los Angeles by way of New York and New Jersey, and previously held chief communications officer positions at Montclair State University, UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, and Fordham University School of Law. Prior to her role in USC Student Health, she served as the assistant vice president for marketing in university communications at USC, overseeing central digital marketing, university web content, and communications for community, government relations and student affairs. Her career experience encompasses media and program development for community-based organizations, international NGOs, and research universities.
Minne Ho holds a dual bachelor’s degree in English and women’s studies from Columbia University and a master’s degree in communications from New York University. She is currently earning a master of public health degree in the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She lives with her family (including two other Trojans) in historic Jefferson Park, adjacent to the bustling USC University Park Campus.
