Heat Illness Prevention

When it’s still hot in the Fall, we are no longer acclimated to the heat because the weather fluctuates so much. During this season, follow these tips to stay well:

  • Stay cool – stay in an air-conditioned space during the hottest parts of the day
  • Schedule outdoor activities carefully
  • Wear light, comfortable clothing
  • Wear sunscreen
  • Stay hydrated
