Student Worker, General Office Administrator

Supervisor: Senior Learning and Development Specialist

Location: Engemann Student Health Center, Suite 201, UPC

Hours Per Week: 10-20 hours, arranged during Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 9 am – 5 pm. This is an in-person position. Available immediately upon hire. Minimum commitment: May 2026.

Wage: $17.28/hour

Description: The USC Office for Health Promotion Strategy (OHPS) serves as the administrative unit for the USC Well-being Collective. Embedded in USC Student Health, OHPS works collaboratively with campus and community partners towards our common agenda of strengthening a culture driven by well-being. Utilizing a collective impact framework (What Is Collective Impact – Collective Impact Forum) OHPS empowers partners to create a health-promoting campus and advance equitable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, answer inquiries, and create a welcoming environment
  • Record information as needed
  • Organize and maintain common office areas to maintain a professional environment 
  • Organize and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner
  • Assist with scheduling of meetings and conference room reservations
  • Receive deliveries; distribute incoming mail
  • Maintain and order office supplies
  • Assist in the tracking and filing of invoices, including Workday and Concur invoicing
  • Assist in coordinating conference room reservations
  • Assist in event coordination as needed
  • Assist in preparation of materials for presentations, trainings and meetings
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Assist in literature review searches or content specific search requests
  • Create, maintain, and enter information into databases 
  • Maintain OHPS and USC Student Health confidentiality
  • Perform additional duties as required
