Lina Augius, MD, MPH received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as the American Board of Integrative Health and Medicine. She has worked with USC students since 2009 and now oversees psychiatric services for both campuses.
Her treatment approach is according to the biopsychosocial model, relying on evidence-based medicine at the core of the treatment plan and incorporating non-pharmacologic recommendations to improve functioning. She values psycho-education and advocates for happiness. Her special interests include women’s health, anxiety disorders, affective disorders, and ADHD. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, travel and is a patron of the arts.
