Initial Covid-19 Test: Students permitted to live in USC Housing, taking in-person classes, or accessing campus facilities must begin participation in the population surveillance testing program (“Pop Testing”) within 3 days of arrival to the campus vicinity and prior to January 15, the first day of classes.
- Students who have tested positive in the past 90 days do not need to be retested. If your test was completed outside if USC Student Health, you may upload a copy of your past positive test result. (See the instructions for uploading documentation for Covid-19 test results into MySHR.)
- Undergraduate students are required to test twice weekly; graduate/professional students are required to test once weekly.
- USC Employees who are working on-site on campus are also required to test once weekly.
Ongoing testing, Pop Testing: Testing of asymptomatic individuals in campus populations will continue throughout the semester based on public health guidelines and the emergence of cases. This surveillance testing will include students living in USC Housing; updates regarding testing will be sent by email or secure messaging through MySHR—students must check university email accounts for important USC information every day.
