Statement on Privacy
The Director of Student Health Services takes the issues of privacy very seriously. As a prior USC medical student himself he is intimately aware of the concerns of the students on the Health Science Campus regarding privacy and confidentiality. As a result, the doctors in the USC HSC Student Health Center have no role in the evaluation of students. Additionally, the Student Health Psychologist has no role in the teaching or evaluation of students, thereby avoiding any potential or perceived concerns about confidentiality. There are no trainees of any nature in the Student Health Center (students, interns or residents), only quality, experienced health care providers whose goal is to provide the best, most comprehensive student health services to all students on the Health Science Campus.
