Overview. The Eric Cohen Student Health Center provides a wide range of services to students enrolled in classes on the Health Sciences Campus. The Student Health Center is immediately across from the USC Family Practice Center in the HealthCare Consultation Center 1 building adjacent to the University Hospital. The Eric Cohen Center represents the front-line for all student health concerns. Follow-up care and referrals to specialists can be obtained by scheduling appointments with physicians at the Eric Cohen Student Health Center.
Options. The "hub" of Student Health is the Eric Cohen Center, located on campus (here, physician visits are free, though labs, radiology, and prescriptions have associated fees). In addition, there is an off-campus satellite office, which can be used by Health Science Campus students with preferences for off-campus care (at this location, physician visits will be covered at 70% of cost, rather than free like at the Eric Cohen Center).
Care. It is the goal of the Eric Cohen Health Center to provide complete medical care to its students. Included in this care are services for acute and chronic illnesses, psychological counseling and obstetric and gynecological care.
